‘Spirit of the Sixties’ Singalong – A Ukrainian Fundraiser
October 10 @ 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Come together for the SINGALONG, ‘Spirit of the Sixties’, a fundraiser for women and children in Ukraine.
Sing along to original 60s anthems – from a tumultuous time of love, peace and protest – songs that remain classics today. Accompanied by lyrics displayed on the big screen upstairs at the Community Hall. Light snacks and refreshments will be available when the doors open and during intermission. Join emcees Chris McDowell and Mo Simpson for an uplifting ‘love fest’.
Ticket pricing is on a sliding scale, starting at $20. You choose what you’d like to pay :) The ultimate goal is to raise $1,000 to directly support the Democracy Development Centre, a women-led NGO providing critical on-the-ground aid in the Ukraine.
