- ✔︎ Does your event have a central focus on art, food, nature, local heritage, health or wellness?
- Examples include (but aren’t limited to) performances, exhibitions, concerts, workshops, festivals, guided walks, yoga retreats, film screenings, historical talks, and literary readings.
- Holiday and seasonal events are accepted in December.
- Fundraisers must support one of the listed focus areas.
- Political or religious events are not accepted.
- ✔︎ Is your event really an “event,” not part of your regular business operations?We do not post retail promotions, restaurant specials, ongoing tours by a company, or annual general meetings.
- ✔︎ Is your event open to the public and inclusive?Private, invite-only, or members-only events are not accepted.
- ✔︎ Does your event take place in the Southern Gulf Islands?Events must be located in or clearly directed at the Southern Gulf Island audience.
- ✔︎ Is your event in-person, or if online, created for the Southern Gulf Island audience?We will not post events that are not directed specifically at the Southern Gulf Island audience.
- ✔︎ Does your event have a start and an end time?
